Any Nabokov (with a preference for his very early Russian stuff) - well actually, all the Russian Greats. Perhaps I am a dreamy misanthrope at heart? Grapes of Wrath moved me the most. Oh! And classical greek myth - it's a goal of mine to read the Illiad in Homer's native words (Discuss: all that Uranus and Aphrodite business - seems appropriate for the current decor haha.) and I am nerdy enough about it to have a FAVORITE /Dorian/ hero who isn't Hercules (C'mon! Take a guess!). I think that's more than enough for now...
