There is none, so the meaning I'm arbitrarily assigning to my own life is to be a good memory for other people, and to leave the world a little better than when I came in. And to have fun doing it.

Anything John Irving, Terry Pratchett or Christopher Moore. Also The History of Love, A Short History of Nearly Anything, God is Not Great, most of Niven's *short* fiction, the Watchmen... oh, God, the list goes on for ever!
What I Like To Do For Fun:
Hang out and read, or cook, or play a little L4D2. Or have a little one-woman dance party in my living room.

Probably the spur-of-the-moment three-day affair a partner and I had with his lovely former girlfriend. Wow.

Stomping from Paris to Athens, eating everything in my path.

I cook and bake at every opportunity. Some of my recent experiments have been a sour cherry brown butter tart, honey spice cake, chocolate toffee cookies, borscht, and various compotes.
I also read a lot. A LOT.
I make clothing. Often it's steampunk and sometimes it's awesome.
I play the violin. Poorly.
Perfect Date:
Probably going to some gorgeous little restaurant (I love eating out, and I shouldn't, but I do) followed by me beating you at Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
