Five Things I Can't Live Without: My kitties, weed, my phone, weed, sushi, the internet.

Favorite Books: I lean pretty heavily contemporary horror and thriller/mysteries, with a little bit of true crime in my reading. Harbor and Let the Right One In, both by John Adjvide Lindqvist are always favs (the rest of his books, with like one lil exception are the best too. Come talk to me about them!! Handling the Undead and Let the Old Dreams Die esp!!) Pretty much anything by Joe Hill (Horns[!!], Heart Shaped Box, 20th Century Ghosts; I just got an audiobook of The Fireman, as narrated by Cpt Janeway of the USS Voyager, so that's exciting), A Simple Plan by Scott Smith kind of fucked me up (I haven't seen the movie tho), and his other book, The Ruins, is spooky and gross and kind of better than its movie counterpart (but I think he wrote the screenplay too?? whatever tho). Nick Cutter is good too! Weirdo/gross, intense horror shit inspired heavy by 80s horror, which I dig a lot. Right now, Im working on Intensity by Dean Koontz, and I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak (which isnt horror even a little bit, but is pretty mysterious and still good). Come talk to my about your scary book recs!! Just like, not Stephen King. I cant do it.

Favorite Songs: Anything from Queen (bicycle race), peak 70s Bowie (fame), Daniel Johns and associated acts (silverchair [across the night], The Dissociatives [somewhere down the barrel]), all the classic pop punk from my high school days (looking at u, recent mashup of Blink-182 [dammit] and Alkaline Trio [every thug needs a lady] into a holy singularity [sober]), shit like Justice (genesis) and Ratatat (neckbrace) and Sleigh Bells (to hell with you), and of course, all the good dance music: pop (if you seek amy - britney / everyday - ariana grande / b5 and obv lemonade - bey) and hip hop (anything from nicki / ooouuu - young m.a. / novacaine - frank ocean) categories.

Favorite Movies: All my favs are sci fi classics: Alien, The Iron Giant, Galaxy Quest, Pacific Rim, etc, but Im also a sucker for some good horror. Or not very good horror. I am well acquainted with the Netflix substandard spooky movie section. Afflicted and As Above So Below are a couple of recent favorites, along with What We Do In The Shadows, which is a perfect cinematic masterpiece.

If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now: Smoking a fat blunt in the shade somewhere comfy and warm.

Hobbies: Art!! Painting with acrylics, oils, gouache, digital shit, hoarding sketchbooks, amassing boxes of colored pencils and pastels, not completing projects, starting new things while in the middle of other things, as you do. Also, getting naked, smoking weed, playing video games (I am all up inside Overwatch!! And just got the Last Guardian. Come talk to me about games!!), being generally cool af.
