Meaning of Life:
That's a tough one. Duh. I was raised to be a god-fearing religious person. As a child, I though everything literally was singing the praises of God all the time--swaying trees, birds singing, even majestic mountains and tall skyscrapers. That's how I was taught. It was comforting. But as I got older, I began to care less what any group called God. I cared less about the temples and churches and rituals. I cared about people. I think the ten commandments are pretty universal, so I try to live by the letter and spirit of them. That's more than most people in this crazy world. I don't think that life has to have a purpose, we just are, like the Sun and the moon. But I am deeply spiritual. I think having a purpose in life--somethings you are passionate about and things you want to accomplish very important for happiness. I believe in Karma. I have had deeply felt spiritual experiences, and I've seen Karma work in stunning ways. But the most important is to take care of yourself, respect yourself, be kind to yourself, so that you can then be in a position to offer the same to others.

Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
Gee, bunch of things, let's see. I won't count this site...OK, top three: falling in love with a "Bar Girl" in Thailand. Ouch...backpacking in the Canadian wilderness for a month, by myself. Finding an empty mortar shell as a kid in the Middle East and then trying to bring it on board in my luggage...Climbing down a makeshift rope from the roof of my apartment building to get in my living room window when I got locked out, as a kid. Oops, that's four, but what-eh-vah...
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
In the arms of my soul-mate, I don't care where, but preferably notin a war zone...If I had to pick a place, so far, it would be in a summer house in the hills of Portugal, overlooking the rolling fields and small villages.
Hobbies:
Jogging, Martial Arts, Swimming, Reading, Writing, Learning about computers, gardening, volunteering with the elderly, Making my dog smile, Cooking, Movies, Eating Out, Travelling, Giving an awesome massage to a special woman. Almost any kind of music. (I'm currently going through each country in the world alphabetically and getting to know their ethnic and cultural music), stopping to smell the roses and appreciating the small beautiful things and moments in life.

Sitting and talking for hours when it felt like fifteen minutes. A romantic dinner and walk in a beautiful quite setting. A romantic dinner and dance in a crazy party setting.
