A word about geekdom...I am very aware that a lot of people think that pretty girls who say they're geeks or gamers or nerds are doing it for the attention. That's really only true for a minority of female geeks. Truthfully, there are more of us out there than you think (and I mean serious geeks...not 'Hey I play the SIMS so I'm a gamer!' Yeah, uh...no).
That said, I also realize that a lot of guys find the pretty geek girl to be something they're into. I won't pretend that didn't play a part in deciding to let you all know about this side of myself...however it really is a part of me and I'm not putting it on my profile so you'll be interested. I'm honest about my interests and whatnot.
I really enjoy meeting and talking to new people. I'm highly social. So, you can definitely expect some interesting conversations if that's what you're looking for. Seriously though, I believe that the purpose to living is to learn about life. Our souls are reborn into multiple lives, and once we have learned everything we can then we will return to the Divine (by whatever name you give It).
We are also meant to overcome all obstacles thrown in our way as a means of strengthening the spirit.
Naturally, we can't neglect our emotional and physical needs, and therefore I also believe that we should have as much fun as we can without hurting anyone. After all, FUN is the reason why I'm in this industry.

On average I like to hang out with my friends, sometimes sitting around a bonfire on a beach somewhere. I used to be heavy into going to clubs and whatnot, but to be honest it's not as much fun as it used to be. Different crowd than before. *shrugs*
When I'm home, however, I usually will log onto a game to play. Usually it's SWTOR if online and Skyrim if offline. I recently got the new Tomb Raider for the Xbox and have been LOVING it in a very frustrated way.

Perfect Mate:
For me, the perfect mate would be either a guy or a chick, so long as we meshed well together. They wouldn't be smothering (I need space!) but also won't be distant (I need cuddles too!). They need to understand my desire to play video games for hours at a time and actually understand the lingo. Perfect Date:
I've thought about what a perfect date would be like for me, and to be honest I don't know. The traditional dinner and a movie is nice, but I think I would like to do something unique. For a first date with someone, for example, I would prefer to go and do something that I have never done before. New experiences get me every time.
