I'm a walking talking contradiction...don't look my age but have the life experience to show for it...I'm vegan and pretty left-y, but LOVE to drink whiskey and watch UFC or NASCAR...I'm whimsical yet intensely serious, and treasure all the weirdness I find in this world and the people around me.
I also have a tendency to get distracted. Time passes much differently in the vortex (especially when I duck down that rabbit hole?). SO! Favorite Books:
My fave book of all time has to be 'The Mists of Avalon' by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I re-read it every couple of years and STILL get totally absorbed in it. I also have a *total* thing for Alice In Wonderland and really relate to the existential and political questions Carroll poses in this so-called children's book! A few other favez include some sci-fi like 'The Chrysalids' by John Wyndam, 'Left Hand of Darkness' by Ursula K. LeGuinn, The 'Galactic Mileu Series' by Julian May (especially 'Jack the Bodiless'!), and Starhawk's futuristic 'The Fifth Sacred Thing'. I also love kids books like 'Captain Underpants' and would love to write a pop-up book someday...for adults! :P
What I Like To Do For Fun:
I could have fun sitting in my chair and just imagining things. Really... I think amusement is imagination as much as it is *DOING* things. I'm super low maintenance and can have fun with myself for hours! lol! But I prefer to play nice with others....dirty, but nice. ;)
Favorite Songs:
K, I'm gonna HAVE TO embed a music player here.. One of my favourite things is to share music with people, and for other folks to turn me on to new stuff. My musical tastes are diverse and eclectic - everything from 80's new wave to Appalachian folk and bluegrass, punk to big band music, 70's rock to country. Some of the musical artists who've influenced me significantly, or I *especially* dig include Nick Drake, Ani DiFranco, Fred J. Eaglesmith, Tori Amos, This Mortal Coil, The Cure, Jeff Buckley, Bikini Kill and Johnny Cash.
Favorite Movies:
I'm an 80's kid...'Lost Boys' is still right up there, even as it gets cheesier every time I watch it. I LOVED the 'Fire", 'Earth' and 'Water' films by Deepa Mehta, and Hanuf Kareshi's 'Bhudda of Suburbia' and 'Sammy and Rosie Get Laid'. Documentary and independent films are more my thing, but I can also get into a good Hollywood flick if it's quirky and smart, and the acting is good :)
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
Ummm...it had something to do with a *VERY* strange evening of fungus imbibement and a chance encounter with what we thought was a German mariachi band...

Hobbies:
Music music music... I'm also an internet geek and spend a LOT of time online - perhaps we've already met? lol! In recent years I have taught myself to garden and landscape, and have developed an interest in power tools. :P I also enjoy making kitschy-type crafts like magnets and lightswitch covers, and dig woodworking and punkrOck embroidery!
Talents:
Hehehe...um...G or R-rated? Well, I play guitar and sing, and have been told that I'm *GREAT* with my hands and mouth in other ways. I'm a squirter, a screamer and a damn good tease!
Perfect Mate:
I believe in polyamoury, so an awesome mate would be a person who is open-minded, sexually curious and a good lover, and who was secure enough in themselves to not tend toward jealousy. I never want to be the reason my lover holds back from experiencing new things, and want every beautiful and crazy thing in this world for *them* as well as myself. Respect, honesty, kindness and humour are all important to me in love - regardless of a person's gender.

LOL! DATE?? we didn't even do that in *my* generation :P
Turn Ons/Offs:
I especially love to be teased.. Whether that's an unexpected touch or brush against my body, or teasing through words and eye contact. Mmmmm... Turn offs for me are things like arrogance, bravado and disrespect. Its those things that cause me to put my big grrrl boots on and kick ass! *grin*

Cause I'm interested in you! lol... (Is true, though) I'm just who I am... if you dig that then cool. :) I think you'll find that I'm friendly and different, refreshing and funny...and sexy as hell of course! :P
