I'm in a spamming kind of mood today... spam spam spam... Mom used to make scalloped potatoes with span.. I use ham.... sometimes when Mom had Bishop's Committee on the first Wednesday of the month.. we'd have spam night.. We could do whatever we wanted with 1/2 a can of spam.. 2 eggs and bread... I usually made fried eggs.. fried spam and what we called grease bread - lots of margarine.. Mom didn't buy us much butter.. But sometimes I made a cold egg salad / spam sandwich on white bread... now - I won't touch spam... haven't had it in years... fucking spam....
