About Me: I'm a single mother trying to work through college. I took 10 years off to screw around, made some bad choices - some good - and now I'm back in the game. I'm a mortuary science student learning about the rituals of death and grieving, and I'm just a couple years from getting my degree! MFC is my only income at the moment, and I'm hoping to be able to support myself and my daughter soon... textbooks are expensive, rent is through the roof... but making friends here and brightening someone's day? Favorite Books: I am completely hooked on the Southern Vampire Mysteries - The Sookie Stackhouse books. They're what the show True Blood is based on, and they're to *die* for haha

What I Like To Do For Fun: Hmm, didn't I answer this back in hobbies? Anyway, I like my hobbies (haha) and I love making people smile. Making people laugh, joke, and happy... It's one of my favorite things to do, and it makes me happy in return! I also love to study my career path. I want to know everything there is to know about being a Mortician, and there are just so many different cultural customs that I never run out of things to learn! The way a culture treats their dead and ancestors is always fascinating, and it says a lot about a people.

Favorite Songs: Right now I'm big on The Decemberists, LMFAO, old Cure, but I really listen to a little bit of everything. I'm not terribly fond of country or recent rap/hip-hop/r&b, but there are a few songs here and there that aren't bad.

Favorite Movies: I love everything from Monty Python to Mel Brooks to great childhood memories from the 90s (Addams Family, An American Tale, all the Disney greats, Casper, so many to name!) Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, and a whole slew of others will always hold a place in my heart!

If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now: I would be floating on a water hammock in Tahiti.

Hobbies: I collect, restore, and customize My Little Pony toys from the 80s, 90s, and the new releases. I'm a Brony all the way. I also am starting to get into World War 2 Reenacting as a WAC mechanic (possibly... still deciding) and/or a Soviet sniper. I also love playing tabletop RPGs like D&D, Warhammer 40k, card games like Dominion, and old school World of Darkness (Wraith the Oblivion, Vampire the Masquerade). I like video games, though it's been a while since I've played anything new. Faxanadu will always have a special place in my heart. I'm also pretty mean with a crochet hook!

Talents: I seem to have a knack for special effects and horror makeup. I picked up a palette and sponges, took some liquid latex and made magic! I used to work for a haunted house, and doing SFX makeup for it just came naturally. I used to do tap dance, ballet, and sing - but it's been about a decade of talent degradation since doing any of those!

Best Reason to Get to Know Me: Because I'm awesome! Haha, I love to cheer people up, and I can usually tell a pretty good story. I may not be very old, but I've been down a few interesting paths... I can make conversation about nearly anything and love to learn about people.
