So about me, Down home old fashion country boy looking for that next step in my life. Wanting to get back into getting to know someone and see where things might lead too. I am an outgoing, free spirited, fun loving, spontaneous, cuddling, laid back, and serious when need be. I just recently got divorced (nov of last year) and I know you are thinking, why am I back on here. Like I said, I need to move on and I am not going to do it by surfing hundreds of profiles on here and sitting here on the computer or the couch wondering what to do next. When I lived down in FL I use to be a trail guide for horseback riding and I owned a couple quarters, and I miss doing that. Not to many places around here. I also did rodeos. I miss taking road trips to nowhere. Just finding a small town and enjoying the unique stores and river walks and each other.
I am looking for that lady that first and foremost is wanting a friend and that chemistry with the right guy, am I the one? That is your decision. I am looking for a lady that does not mind getting there hands dirty, dressing up in jeans and a t-shirt and just enjoying the outdoors and having fun and a lady that likes to get dressed up to go out on the town and have some fun, lol. I am looking for that lady that wants to learn from each other and accept each others strenghts and faults.
One of my dreams is just get myself a nice tent and the proper supplies and just rough it for a month in the summer. I love the outdoors, but nothing wrong with sitting at home, firing up the grill and watching a good movie or the races or a game on the weekend.
Perfect Mate:
MY IDEA OF A RELATIONSHIP: Someone that cannot only be a lover and partner but first and foremost a BEST FRIEND. Because if you cannot be friends, then you cannot build up a replationship. Communication is #1. Someone that is willing to try someting new once in a while, Never say yes to a marriage within the first year and it is ok to put your partner first, but I also have feelings and needs. It should always be 50/50 or at least 60/40 either way.
Perfect Date:
A first meeting of course, chit chat, meet up and do something in public; it is starting to get cooler out, maybe a nice walk in the park and start watching the leaves change and then out to a lunch or dinner. ONE OF MY PERFECT DATES: Hop on the megabus to a trip back to Chicago and enjoy the mueseums and/or catching a Bears or Hawks game. OPPPSSSSSS, I am sorry, I keep forgetting that I am here in Michigan, lol.

Best Reason to Get to Know Me:
Yes I have had some medical issues, I can get around and I am very self sufficient. I have had 3 back surgeries and defeated diabetes within 2 years even though I still keep track of it. But I have went from 190 pre to 260 during and now down to 210, It was a steroid based diabetes. I do have my own place, I pay my bills and I do have a little extra to play around with. Please don't judge a book by it's cover, because everyone has had issues in their lives and what is the sense of being on here if you are not looking for someone that will accept you for who you are? One strike might be is that I am a picky eater but I love to cook.
