Meaning of Life:
Others and not ourselves. If we can get away from just thinking about ourselves and what we want and think we need and focus on the others around us and what they need, everyone would be better off. Love one another as we love ourselves.
Favorite Books:
I like the classics. I love Stephen King and other horror authors. I like to read true crime novels as well as history and biographies. Anything to do with the world conflicts as well, especially WWII and the Civil War. I love to learn and read about our past and how we got to where we are today as well as some fiction and other stuff thrown in to mix it up.
Favorite Songs:
Have to have rock but not the crap where it sounds like they are really pissed at you and would probably kill you if you were there with them. The good stuff. Love alternative especially the '90's. Really like blues and jazz. Love some old school hip-hop and R&B.
Favorite Movies:
Absolutely love horror movies. Anything with action and comedies as well. Never got the concept of the chick flick except as something for a date. Why would anybody pay good money to be sad and cry?!!
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
In a cabin in the mountains by a river. Remote.
Hobbies:
Sports. Love to run and also pick-up basketball games. Love watching sports of all kinds. Prefer college sports to pros because the pros whine too much and have no grasp or concept of reality. That said I love Texas A&M, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavs, and the Stars. I love everything outdoors and just hangin' with the friends and enjoying a cold beer. Spending time with my kids and grandchild.
Talents:
I have a talent for listening and ,from what I have been told, offering sound advice. I know when to speak and when to listen which is a real talent. I love to help others. I have a real green thumb and can get almost anything to grow. I run long distance. Love to cook and grill(there is a huge difference between the two). Good in the kitchen does not mean good on the grill. I make friends easily and have a great sense of humor.

Someone who is headed in the same direction as me. A goal oriented person with some drive and a sense of purpose. Has to love kids and have an awesome sense of humor. Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Comfortable out on the town or relaxing on the couch. Likes the outdoors. Can fend for themselves sometimes and is not overly needy.
