I'm newly single after an 8-year committed relationship. We're still friends, but nothing more. Looking for some new long-distance friends so I can broaden my horizons. I think that connecting with other people, and meaning something to their lives is most important to me. Relationships and the adventure that they bring into your life is what I am seeking now.

Right now I'm reading mostly cookbooks, because I'm teaching myself how to cook. Fancy stuff!!!

play soccer, play guitar, read a lot, and meet new people.

Beatles, Tool, Tori Amos, The Doors, 50's/60's/70's/80's rock/pop/metal. Anything as long as it's good! You shouldn't limit yourself to a type, you should let it all in!!!!

Some of my favorite movies are Black Narcissus, Wendigo, True Romance, Another Earth and too many more to mention. Also anything by David Cronenberg and Alfred Hitchcock.

Somewhere in the mountains. Love 'em. Big sky, cool breezes and lots of trees!!!!!!

Writing: I've written a few good short stories, and I'm thinking about having them published. Nervous about letting other people read them, because it feels like a judgment.
Talents:
Play guitar, write and give decent advice. I have counseled children and adults, and will probably start doing that online as well.
Perfect Mate:
Haven't met her yet, but I've come close. Managed to stay friends with most of my exes. I really need someone who is completely themselves, honest, and who wants me to be myself. I'm a very calm, pleasant person and i need a woman who compliments that.

Good food, lots of laughs and hopefully a second date!
Turn Ons/Offs:
Rude behavior and other drama turn me off. Turn ons are people who say what they mean, and mean what they say. Honesty and compassion and kindness win me over every time.
