Good Monday Evening:
Sorry I had to leave your presence, but duty called.
We had a number of loaded Barges to move. The Barges were assembled into a cluster of 15 ( 3 wide x 5 long ), lashed together, then moored. Later this evening, another Larger River Tug will push this entire group up River, through a series of Locks to their final destination. I gather this trip takes about 30 to 36 hours depending on the downstream current and the amount of North and Southbound traffic coming through the Locks.
But, enough about work.
