Salut ! Hello!
My name is Kida. Je suis etudiante - I'm a student. A blogger. Je suis ecrivain. A shop owner (even though it lacks customers), and lazy painter.
I speak French, English, and a little of Spanish. I was born in France *wink* Oui, I have an accent but I often speak fluent English without one .
A Self Description
My name isn't American. My age sits on the number line between the whole numbers 22 and 24. Like you, I have a mother and a father. I am multiracial and refuse to settle in one racial category. My heritage is a mixture of French, Spanish, African, and Native American words and customs. Crole, as you've probably heard.
What is 'family' and how can it be easily defined? In a sense, 'family' is anyone a soul can bond with. A physical family. A soul-family. A family is an extension of the blood that's running through an individual's veins. Family is an extension of the heart.
Painting is one of my many hobbies. I often take long breaks between pieces in order to collect my thoughts. It's always a spiritual experience and I thoroughly enjoy painting for others as well as for myself. In the grand scheme of things, I don't plan to go to school for it. However, I do plan to keep learning and progressing in my own spare time and during study breaks.
The best thing anyone could ever do for them self is to breathe. Take one moment at a time. Never stop trying to achieve the goal. Never deprive the self of what it needs to feel free. Breathe. And don't always believe ever little thing the mind comes up with when it's bored. There's always love out there. Especially for those who are suffering. Don't force the self to suffer in ways ... more ways ... than it should. Advice.
Nature and love have always been my first home. Before I was put in a crib. Before the man-made items became a major contributor to my daily thoughts and routines. However, I'm a natural born scientist and find importance in these man-made items we've come so accustomed to using. I write often and sketch when I can. I like to consider myself as someone who judges less than others. Stating that has nothing to do with my ego but has more-so to do with my concept of the average individual. We all go through things in life and have our own reasons and explanations as to why we can't ever be the person we were yesterday.

We fall in love then out of love. The process repeats until the day the heart ceases to beat. There's lessons that come from loving and lessons learned that come from having loved. Mistakes are bound to be made so we might as well accept that fact early on in life. I am religious in my own sense. I grew up in a Christian household then fell out of it after struggling with how often my presence at church was needed. I've read about Judaism and still pray to Allah. After years of searching I settled on being Buddhist but then questioned how important a label actually was. For me, it wasn't about the name or the God. It was more-so about praying and receiving that soulful knowledge only the unknown can supply. So, I've settled on Love.

I could use this space to tell you about my minor obsession with gummy candies or plantain chips. However, I won't. Because those are just small facts that make up who I am as an individual person. The most important parts of me aren't so obvious and I think that's why I felt the need to create this blog. Not for my own benefit but for the benefit of others who are looking for words or readings they haven't found yet.

With that said, I will say that I am currently a full-time student. I am a writer who's currently working on a fiction novel. I am a painter who struggles with finding the right light. I love language. Growing up and hearing multiple languages has inspired me to teach myself a few. My ultimate motherly goal is to teach my child(ren) as many languages as I can while they're young so they will be able to communicate flawlessly when they're older. I've lived the minimalist lifestyle since 2012 without even realizing it until a few days ago. And, I'm a big fan of movies, shakes, and brownies.
