I like fiction novels (e.g., John Updike), history/biographies, poetry, and classic novels like Don Quixote, and anything and everything by Shakespeare.
What I Like To Do For Fun:
Sports, music, outdoors, and 'torturing' myself by occasionally coming to MFC to see beautiful women whom I never will meet in real life, just in my dreams. ;)
Favorite Songs:
Just about any genre of music, depending on what mood I'm in and what I'm doing at the time. I like anything from thrashmetal like Metallica and The Ministry when weightlifting to classical like Mozart and J.S. Bach when reading, Dwight Yoakam and the Eagles while driving cross-country, to Arcade Fire and the Strokes while driving across town, Peter Gabriel and Sting when I'm meditative, etc. I like any music that is good and am open to just about anything (excepting the typical music you hear in an elevator or dentist's office, plus that Oriental 'twang' satir music you hear in your local Chinese restaurant).

Gran Torino, Lord of the Rings, City of Angels, Gladiator, Any movie with Samuel Jackson, A River Runs Through It, UP, Marvel movies, old black & white Jimmy Stewart/Carey Grant movies, all 'Northern Exposure' reruns, British Comedy. ;)
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
Skydiving (I'd like to say having sex while in a tandem skydive, but that would be lying.)
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
In the winter, a day of skiing here in Colorado, capped off with a dip in the outdoor hot tub while it is gently snowing. In the summer, a sunny beach with good waves for body boarding during the day and partying with friends by campfire at night, holding the woman I love as she lays back on my chest. (Yes, I know I sound cheesy. But I'm an Aries guy, so I can't help my 'hopeless romanticism')
Hobbies:
I like to exercise my body and my mind. I'm into weightlifting, bodyboarding, parasurfing, golfing, reading books (yes, even ones without pictures!), playing and listening to music, drama and theatre.

That's for me to know and for that special woman to find out. ;)
Perfect Mate:
I'll know when I meet her and get to know her on a 'friend' level first. Friends can become lovers, but lovers can't become friends if they weren't friends to begin with. (Given I rushed into my first 'failed' marriage at a young age with someone where we didn't really know each other as well as we should have, I don't want to make the same mistake again. I realize this means I may never meet the right mate and get married again, but so be itI won't compromise. I'd rather be single than unhappily married.
Perfect Date:
Vacationing in Bora Bora...with candlelit dinner, live music, then a stroll along the beach, eventually making love in the ocean and spooning each other tight as we sleep by campfire under the moonlight. But hey, as long as I'm with the woman I love, then I could be anywhere and do anything as long as it makes her happy. :)
Turn Ons/Offs:
Turn On's: Honesty; Open-mindedness, adventurous, willing to try anything once (except maybe something like eating live bugs on a game show), playful, can be equally silly and serious depending on the situation; humble yet confident; equally comfortable roughing it on a camping trip and dressing elegantly for a ball; won't allow me to take myself too seriously, makes me laugh and will at least try to laugh at my jokes even when they're not funny (!), can be vulnerable yet strong, not self-pitying but has compassion for others, can appreciate Romance (while recognizing when it gets too cheesy..lol), can just as well share a tender kiss that seems to last a lifetime as much as they can get passionate, wild, and erotic in bed; knows how to act like a lady in public and also delights in becoming a naughty kitty in private. ;)
Turn Off's: Fake personalities, fake tits, botox, face-lifts, money-grubbers, dishonesty, disloyality, and just 'fake', 'narcissistic' people in general. (If you are such, I'll spot you a mile away, so please don't bother contacting me.)
Best Reason to Get to Know Me:
I'm one of those hopeless romantic 'nice guys'one whose ok with the fact that nice guys usually finish last. :) I try to always be a gentleman and always treat a woman like the lady she is, rather than simply a sex object. (Yes, that includes the women here on MFC!!) FYI: Ladies, I tend to be a little shy and insecure around you beautiful women, although if I get to know you on a personal level and feel secure with you, then you definitely can coax the savage sex beast out of me ;)
