About Me:
"Leela" is the Sanskrit word for the cosmic play of the universe.
I was raised Hindu.
I was prophesied to have a vast positive impact on society by a Hindu living saint.
I was born on Krishnas birthday (aka Krishna Janamashtami). My Vedic horoscope says that I will do The Thing in my early 30s.
On September 3rd I turned 31. That makes me a Virgo, but Im not into horoscopes. I spent my birthday with a new friend, walking to the DMV and Planned Parenthood, renewing my drivers license and removing my hormonal IUD.
I am 56, 122 pounds of slim athletic pounds. I have a seed-based vegan diet and I experiment with globally-sourced superfood ingredients. In my mobile storage I carry around 150 different ingredients.
For the last 4 years I have lived as a polyamorous nomad in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have enjoyed a broad access to spaces, such as houses, high rises, communal living boats, vans, tents, rooftops, storage shelves.
A friend coded an app I designed to aid my free movement: Leela Maps is a map of anything shared to anyone. It works by having users share locations with descriptions and searchable #hashtags, such as #HotTub #3dPrinter #EpiPen #PeachTree #ClothingOptional etc. Location creators can set privacy settings (public, private, or in a shared network) and editing privileges. At the time of this writing (04:13 PST 9/7/2019), Im the only active user of the app. I have posted hundreds of locations (fruit trees, hackerspaces, secret hangouts) and I am still learning new ways to use the tool. I am starting to talk with organizations to start implementing it for societal change. Id like to hire people to write scripts to upload data from machine-learned cameras into it.Ill try not talk too much about Leela Maps while camming. Its been a dominant part of my daily life for the last few years and I need a break.

I have received an vast informal scientific education through my friends.
I recently had a stint at a company where I was designing carbon nanotechnology for developing consumer chemical synthesis devices. The work environment was too abusive for me to continue the project to production; Id love to be able to afford to rent a labspace to continue this project.
