I read a lot of psychological thrillers, campy science fiction, holocaust lit and a few mystery novels sprinkled in.
Some of the more recent things that I've gotten through would be: Snow Crash, House of Leaves, GoT, The Gunslinger series, Neuromancer, Gravity's Rainbow.

As far as movies go I enjoy a good horror flick or B rated cult classics. Other than that I really enjoy a lot of what Baz Luhrmann and Danny Boyle have put out.
