Interests & Hobbies
Meaning of Life:
Get swole.
Five Things I Can't Live Without:
Squat rack, protein powder, espresso, my dog, my Prada purse.
Favorite Books:
TOO MANY TO CHOOSE! Have to say, the bare minimum: Homer's Iliad & Odyssey, Virgil's Aenead, Dante's Inferno, Boccacio's Decameron, Ovid's Art of Love ;), Manzoni's The Betrothed, Goethe's Italian Journey, Marcus Aurelius' Meditations (my go-to when I'm stressed), Caucer's Canterbury Tales, the original Beowulf, ALL of the pre-16th century Arthurian legends, any and all books on Roman archaeology, Roman or Greek history (particularly contemporary accounts e.g. Livy), and the old tragic romances from Great Britain. I also adore mythology, and all ancient prose and poetry. I'm not really big on plays, though, with the exception of maybe Pausanias. HILARIOUS stuff. ^^
What I Like To Do For Fun:
Squats and sarcasm. ^^ (But I NEVER joke about squats. SERIOUS. BUSINESS.)
Favorite Songs:
Metal. m/
Favorite Movies:
Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars (original trilogy), Studio Ghibli, Monty Python.
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
I ate a whole pizza on a rest day once.
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
Italia <3
Hobbies:
Reading, writing, crafts, walking my dog, lifting, sleeping, cooking, traveling. I also really enjoyed school, and I'm looking forward to going to grad school in 2014.
Talents:
I lift things up and then I put them down.
Perfect Date:
Hit the gym together, shower and change in the locker rooms, then go to a nice dinner somewhere- preferably Asian food! Maybe a movie or a walk at a park after that. If it's an afternoon date, coffee and chatting works just fine for me. Or maybe a hike!
Turn Ons/Offs:
Ask if you're curious! :P
Best Reason to Get to Know Me:
I have a really complex personality and a variety of hobbies. I'm also well-traveled, a good listener, and I got jokes. ;) So if you just need someone to chat to about anything and everything, hit me up! I get along with everybody.
