One of the most beloved books is Ragdoll by Daniel Cole, a modern thriller, the first part of a detective trilogy. I remember exactly:
1. The original plot is a corpse sewn from the parts of six different victims, and a list of future victims, where the last name is the detective.
2. The tense pace is a dynamic plot, almost every chapter ends on such a note that you want to immediately read more.
3. The dark atmosphere is a gloomy, sometimes harsh, but very atmospheric story, reminiscent of something like Seven or True Detective.
4. Interesting characters are charismatic, imperfect, with their own demons, which makes them alive and recognizable.
5. British black humor is irony, which does not allow the book to become too gloomy.
Favorite Movies:
The film "The Transporter" is remembered as a stylish action film with a clearly built main character and dynamic action. Here are a few things that remain in the memory:
1. The main character is the embodiment of cold efficiency, discipline and strength. Clear rules, a minimum of emotions, a maximum of actions.
2. The rules of the transporter, no questions asked, do not open the download and always maintain the conditions. But it is the violation of one of these rules that sets the plot in motion.
3. Stylish action, martial arts, often with unexpected tricks and props - typical of Luc Besson.
4. The car is almost a separate hero of the film. Racing, drifting, skillful driving - this is its calling card.
And also the stylish picture, its European flavor, plus the music give the film a special vibe.
