I have so many favorite books, it's hard to pick out a few.
I love graphic novels. Promethea by Alan Moore is probably my favorite right now.
Fantasy novels are great, too. Aurian by Maggie Furey has been a favorite of mine for a while.
Let's not forget Sci-Fi! Right now I'm reading Starship Troopers and loving it!

I love punk, metal, grunge, and sludge music. Stranger, Tragedy, Dropdead, Sleep, Earthless, Skitsystem, Uninhabitable, Mold Spores, The Stooges, The Ramones, Bad Brains, Abider, Campaign Committee, and so much more.
I also like folk, psych-folk, and singer/songwriter stuff, too. Animal collective, CocoRosie, The Devil Makes Three, The Civil Wars, Dirty Projectors, Dark Dark Dark, The Mamas and The Papas, Melanie, Devendra Banhart, etc.
