Interests & Hobbies
Five Things I Can't Live Without:
Personal solitude, my family, documentaries, books and my furbabies.
Favorite Books:
Anything realistic.. I love books about drugs/difficult life experiences--I also love poetry; books like Milk and Honey, and Whiskey, Words & a Shovel. I'm also a huge sucker for erotica! I think the written word can create the most beautiful imagery.. and it's always subjective to the reader, which I love.
Favorite Songs:
I am a 90's baby, through and through. I have Michael Jackson song quotes tattooed on me, as I began singing his songs before I could even speak full sentences. I love the older stuff--but anything that lyrically speaks to me tends to stay with me, I'm not big on much of the new music available now, aside from a few artists, but feel free to ask. :)
Favorite Movies:
Gia, Girl Interrupted, Blow, Party Monster, Natural Born Killers, Monster, Hocus Pocus, Lion King, Basketball Diaries, Black Snake Moan, Jamesy Boy, Spun, Requiem for a Dream, Better than Chocolate, ANY serial killer/drug/crime documentary!
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
I have a messy past. I grew up with a lot of addiction/mental health issues, and brought myself out of the lifestyle quite successfully (thankfully). But at one point I was homeless, addicted, and affiliated with people that are less than ideal concerning furthering yourself. I've done a lot of crazy things, but it's hard to remember that version of myself.. it feels like a lifetime ago. BUT, I'm an open book! So feel free to ask anything--I can't honestly remember the last time a genuine question hasn't just warranted a genuine answer with me. :)
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
I'd probably be on a museum tour of sorts.. visiting as many as I can.
Hobbies:
As per my studies, I have an immense facination with serial killers/crime/horror, so I have an interesting collection of items relating to those catagories. I read a lot--I love to be learning, constantly.
Best Reason to Get to Know Me:
I'm more complex than I can even admit to myself! I have a million layers, each of them either boring or amazing (depending on the audience), but I will always keep you guessing, and constantly challenge you. I'll never turn down an intellectual conversation.
