It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
Favorite Books:
For non-fiction, I like to read science and history books, such as Guns, Germs and Steel, The Blank Slate, The Demon-Haunted World and A Short History of Nearly Everything. For fiction, I enjoy literary books and I've always liked fantasy books such as those by Tolkien or George R. R. Martin.

Mostly alternative/indie rock but a lot of other genres as well.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to watch the kind of movies that win Oscars. Sometimes I just want a fun movie with action and boobs.
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
I'm not very crazy. I guess I'd have to say serving in the Navy on a nuclear submarine. Some would say that's crazy.
Hobbies:
Reading, playing piano and guitar, listening to music, playing video games occasionally and without much dedication. Also, I already know Spanish and I'm starting to learn Russian.

A beautiful, sweet girl I could take home to Mom who would be a freak in private.
