Favorite Books:
Do comics count? Who cares, they have words. For comics, I'll go with: 52, Final Crisis, All-Star Superman, New X-Men, 7 Solders, Superman: Birthright, and Lex Luthor: Man of Steel. There's a theme here. And not Superman, per se. But Grant Morrison wrote most of those. I'll go Manga, next: Pluto & Monster. Novels? Shit, I got no idea. I love me some Philip K Dick, and HP Lovecraft. Larry Niven. Neil Gaiman. Neal Stephenson. I also love all the Wing Commander novels based on the games. Not any based on the bad movie. I know they're probably bad, but.... eh.
Favorite Movies:
This is a little easier. Blade Runner (I own 7 copies of it, sigh. 2 on dvd, 5 on fucking HD-DVD), Dark City (both the original, and director's cut), Ghostbusters 1&2, Star Trek 1,2,6,First Contact, & 2009,Fifth Element, 40 Year Old Virgin, Super Bad, The Hangover, Super Troopers, Slammin' Salmon, Spaceballs. Event Horizon, Resident Evil 1-4, 28 Days Later (Not Weeks, that sucked so bad). The ORIGINAL The Day The Earth Stood Still. Well, ok, I never saw the remake, but, still. Enter the Dragon, The Prestige, Memento, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, I absolutely adore the 60s Batman movie based on the show. Such cheese, how can you not like it? Speaking of cheese, Flash Gordon. The Last King of Scotland, Full Metal Jacket, Lucky Number Slevin, Mystery Men, O Brother Where Art Thou, All 3 Mexico Trilogy movies, though I need to rewatch all of them.
