Perfect Mate:
My perfect mate is about 6'0" give or take an inch. They must have unruly curly locks, of course. Preferably free-thinking and laid-back, but I could handle them on one of those "fuck you, nothing is real" days as well. They would always find a way to somehow continue introducing me to the best music. Like they just have old, underappreciated indie bands whose lead-singers have experimental hip-hop side projects infinitely up their sleeves, pulling them out as I need something new to listen to. In the same sense, for someone to actually be my PERFECT mate, they would have to be of god-like attractiveness to me, and hopefully of moderate to average attractiveness to everyone else. (Who am I kidding, the man person I am imagining would have people stopping in the streets as he walked by. ;3) They would be great with children, love sitting under trees with me and listening to the wind speak. They would accompany me during my times that had always been "private" before, and I would enjoy doing things for them that had always been tedious to do for everyone else before them. They would be honest, brave, commendable, but, like everyone, have instances of instability and a mental shifts that throw those adjectives out of the window. However, because they would be my perfect mate, I could only love them, even through the bouts of dishonesty, cowardice, and heinous acts, because I would be able to only see their light shining through their fake, outer shell. No matter how far away they were, or how long they were there, I would always still be only theirs......
