I live in the mountains and I love the great outdoors. I go fishing all of the time. I enjoy camping in the wild & reading lots of stuff on the internet. Mainly educational articles and videos from credible sources.
It amazes me how we all have these mini computers in our pockets with the answers to almost every question we can think of. Just like pictures that capture time. I just love finding out how things work.
I'm really into science and I love everything about space. I will eventually upgrade to a super advanced telescope someday so that I can show y'all what I'm looking at on a monitor.
Together we will explore moons, stars and numerous galaxies. I will also eventually buy a microscope so that we can test things. I'm kinda weird like that, I wonder what lurks around us like germs and mites and things that are invisible to the human eye.
I'd like to magnify and test water, dust etc. Here's what's funny about that. To the people I know. I'm a well known germaphobe.That is part of the reason I want to know everything I can I just need to know what's out here. I enjoy viewing the world in various ways and Science provides me plenty of entertainment. In HappyLand we will eventually do some science projects. In the meantime, I'll sing, dance, tease, and have a good time with y'all. I will try to be as creative as I can to find things we can do.

Growing up my family saw to it that I spent time serving other people. I love homeless people and I love people who don't have much heck I just love everybody. I wish I could help each and every person in some way. We will be doing various things to work towards making the world a happier place to by doing things to help people.
Sometimes it's simple as volunteering our time. It's not just about donations to charities it's about finding ways to meet the needs of others around us. There are many different ways for HappyLand to spread the love to people. Sometimes even a call to someone you haven't talked to in while can really brighten someone's day.

I've always thought about things that could happen since I can remember but now I'm actively getting ready just in case.
Nooooo I'm not crazy or delusional. I just want to be prepared if something goes down. I take prepping seriously. I have a list of things that I need to learn that will come in handy if or when things go crazy. We are so dependent on life as we know it with cars that run on gas and having to go to the grocery store to buy food. What if stores and gas stations were to close down? What would we do?
If anything we have learned from this pandemic is not to take basic things for granted. Anyway, I'm an introvert by nature so if you don't like talking and you just want to observe, its o.k. I understand. No one here has to talk if they don't want to. Heck, I'm the same way sometimes.
On the other hand, if you are a person who likes to talk then please join in on the conversation. We are all friends here. Like most introverts I enjoy talking to friends who are in my inner circle. So again welcome to Happyland, and welcome to my circle. :)
UPDATE 10-28-23 After being slim most of my life I gained a LOT of weigh starting in 2011. In 2020 I was at my highest weight at 274 pounds. Soon after the new year I was diagnosed with diabetes. I apparently had it for awhile and it was seriously out of control. I've been on this weight loss journey since Jan 2020. I have lost a total of 100 pounds as of today 10-28-23. I only have about 50 more pounds to go to get to my goal weight of 125. I'm so proud of myself. I've come so far. Eating fruits and veggies walking and moving around has paid off. I'm on my way to better health and that is what this weight loss journey is all about for me. In the meantime the diabetes has done a number on my body, with gum infections, blurry eyesight and so on. For now, the Queen of Happyland has temporarily lost her smile. :( I've NEVER had one cavity in my life. I always flossed and rinsed after meals I did everything I was supposed to do. But I've always dealt with gum disease and it's finally got the best of me. I will have more dental work done soon right now my top teeth are out. They may take the bottom teeth out I need a second opinion first I will find out more mid Nov when I go to my appointment. A few of them are loose so I'll find out soon then I'll get my dentures. I was hoping to wrap this up quickly but from what they've explained to me, it's a long drawn out process because I'll have to wait for my gums to heal if they take the bottom teeth out which could take a few months from what I'm told. However, I'm looking into some other alternative things I can posibly do. Even after I get my first set of dentures I will be looking into getting implants later on down the line when it's in the budget. My smile and my personality are my best assets so not being able to talk directly into the camera is different. I LOVE talking to y'all. However, it's a unique opportunity for me to be creative with my presentation. If anyone tries to clown me for something I have no control over I will just block you and I'll hope that you never have to go through something medical of this significance. It's not been easy for me but I'm o.k. Diabetes can do soooo much more than what it's done to me. I'm about to have my eyes checked by a speicalist but I can see. So I am grateful for that. I can't control the future but I can try focus on the bright side of things. I'll be 50 in April 2024 these things happen. That's life. Right now I'm so happy to be alive and I'm doing my best to stay positive. There are people out there going through much worse things. Please don't bring this up in my chatroom. Most people won't even notice. Believe me I went back and forth on if I should say something or not. In the end I felt that it was best to be transparent about what's going on with my health to my online friends. This just goes to show us that we never know what other people are going through. In pictures and videos I look like I don't have a care in the world. All of my life I've been praised for my looks. Even now as I make videos people can't tell and they say you are soooo beautiful. But they don't know what I am going through medically. They have no idea that what they see is someone who is going through a lot but won't let that stop her. I'm going forward. This is a part of life. I'm priveleged to get older to experience these type of things. I really can't complain about that. I'm so glad that I have always cared more about doing the inner work on my personal being more than my outer appearance. This is just a shell. I'm a work in progress. The ONLY thing that matters is, am I smiling INSIDE? Well the answer is yes I'm trying my best to be grateful and present each day. It's hard, but I'm dong it.
