About Me: FIRST potential friend- while I will probably come on this site as often as i possible can (scouts honor!) My main time frame i will be on (80 to 90) percent is week day mornings at 8 CENTRAL time!!! and most weekends!!! Favorite Books: I'm an avid reader. John Steinbeck became my fave author in 8th grade for various long reasons. ive read too many to remember. dont judge me but I read The Hunger series trilogy before it came out! And... I used to have a thing for Slyvia Browne if you know who that is.. haha. I like easy reads, funny reads, and something with actual substance. I also read 'A million little pieces' (about a junkie in rehab) before the almighty Oprah put it on her book club then invited him on her mega show to tear him about 3 new ones... I also read mags bc their mostly non-sense and easy so dont be intimitated : ) Really! Also I have a few classic poetry books too but please dont be alarmed- these days I rarely have time or thought to read even a page!
What I Like To Do For Fun: I have always been obbsessed with swimming. don't get me wrong- i am not going for olympic technique by ANY means- I just really adore the water and floating around! I like writing but I go through long hiatuses Im ashamed to admit, same with reading.I love to travel way more than I have recently! Last but not leats, i love socializing with/talking to my friends. What else would there be otherwise? ;)
Favorite Songs: I love the band Cake if you have ever heard. again, I like a wide variety of music. I used to have a thing for 311 in my younger years- dont u judge me! I wan a clean hippie for a minute. I bathed regulary! I love old stuff like Rolling Stones, a good amount of beatles, and just a few grateful dead! On the flip side I have been to punk shows like Social distortion. I had the best seats once to REd Hot Chili Peppers- best show Ive seen out of many. I like Oasis back in the day. I ADORED black keys before anyone knew who they were. I still like them and I get its about money but Im kinda sad now that every one is in on it! I like some Allman Brothers. In a completely dif direction I can dig a few Spin Doctors song as well as all those other weird 80s songs you just wont admit to even acknowledging. I also went through a big rap phase years ago. I could bump with the rest of them! Now I find that a good 80 to 90 percent of new music isnt... well really music? and I will carefully admit that very few country songs are ok with me. I just can't apologize for who I am! : )
Favorite Movies: I like the movie Candy. It had Heath Ledger in it before he overdosed. Ironically he polayed a major heroin addict and part of my thinking was always 'If Im gonna play a junkie I should at least try it?' I apologize for that bad taste. R.I.P I love weird alien movies, though not a movie- I used to have a major obssession with HBO shows. who hasnt right? I'm game for a lot of things as long as its not an unwatchable jackie chan movie ( I AM sorry!) Dont get me wrong though- I love to mix it up, hilarious, off the wall, definately old classics like Blow or Casino ect. I like movies that make no sense like Crank too... I only dont really go for something if its a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle remake or something way too romantic. I cant take it!!
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done: I'm not proud and I mean that, but when I was 16 years old four of my best girlfriends and I stole our principals lawn gnome. (I am sane!!) I've gone skinny dipping at parties, got banned from Milwaukees George Webbs temporarily (not my fault) and watched my BFF have sex bc she didnt know the guy and I didnt want her to die. this is a safe place right???
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now: I would LOVe to travel more than I have the chance to lately so bad!! I've only been to Mexico a few times, the dominican Repubil (and a tiny of Haiti) and Colorado and other random US states I dont care to embellish on. My absolute WISHLIST is Ireland!!! and Paris (of course!) Id that ever happens Id love to see Italy, with rome and of course the Vatican! Oh and how could I forget?? HAWAII! now I change Hawaii to the perfect date! hehe
Hobbies: I like girly stuff in a way. I have a deep aprreciation for quality photography (and of course fine art!) Call me dorky (but honest darn it) but the photographs I take that are my faves make it into a photo album that could beat your Nanas! I love fishing (in summer!). I like going to local town festivals and what female doesnt adore shopping! I love listening to music though in my business I have not had a chance to listen as much as I used to sadly. When I am in a SAFE legal environment with people i trust I actually love shooting guns at inanimate objects! Its a total stress reliever and kind of a thrill! I like to try new exciting things. I love riding 4 wheelers on a relatives property but snowmobiles ahem- require snow : (
Talents: I am very artistic especially when it comes to things involving paper or paper-crafting. I occasionally branch out and try thhings like painting. I am not saying I am a perfect cook but there are a large handful of cuisines that I am a master at! I love learning to cook new food also!
Perfect Mate: What every woman says is - Yes a good sense of humor goes a long long way. not the cheesy highschool hijinx, but the witty clever kind of humor : ) Again its trite but I have met many people in my life who were gorgeous on the outside but their inside really made them unnattractive- even on the outside. On the opposite I have met people you wouldnt think were typically good looking but their amazing personalities make them so attractice, really.I guess I do not really have a type. The people I have had serious relationships with are all as different as they come! I don;t feel you can pcik one quality or even a list that makes a kindred spirit!
Perfect Date: I love oceans and beaches, anything outdoors (with the right man and no bear) would be romantic. I'm also game for anything. A dinner, movie? If i had been with a partner for a long time I would love to try something exotic like sky diving or ziplining (ahh!) I'd even do something typically a man thing like going to the races or a ports bar- though not the biggest sports fan since HS varity cheerleading- dont hold it against me please!
Turn Ons/Offs: what I find appealing is a man who is successful in his area, very ambitous and motivationg to others and myself, generous without being a sucker!, kind and compassionate-the man who would stop and help an elderly person stuck in a crosswalk hehe, but also someone who knows when its time to be a man man! I like for my men to have friends and their own life, but also be honest and very respectful of me. Ideally I would love someone who is unconditionally supportive of my goals and helps me and motivates me to be the person I can!
Best Reason to Get to Know Me: I am not one to boast but I am an incredible fun person to interact with! I carry myself well and have self respect but I also love to have fun in the right circumstances! I'll make you laugh- I'll be your real friend and care about whats going on inyour life (if u wanna talk about it haha) I actually like to get to know my FRIENDS but do nOT misread that that I am prude!!
