|| Classical joys: Kushiel and Naamah series, Wheel of Time (always, love u Robert Jordan), Sword of Truth (don't @ me i was young and I like the evil chicken ok??), Brandon Sanderson, Douglas Adams (what a guy), Phillip Pullman (still my hero), House of Leaves (love+horror=delight), Perks of Being a Wallflower (his new book SLAPS), also NO I DIDNT REALLY CARE FOR DUNE I THOUGHT IT WAS OVERLY POLITICAL AND UNECESSARILY DRY YOU CAN CRY ABOUT IT, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series (still haven't been brave enough to read the new releases), The Expanse series (still haven't read the latest one don't spoil it), I did read the Song of Ice and Fire series (three times) but I think George RR Martin is an unimaginative sadist who enjoys wallowing in the base nature of human perversion without giving it even a hint of true love or light or laughter to make the sorrow all the sweeter so forgive me if I remain unimpressed by his lurid and overly detail descriptions of the misery of others...if you want something both sexually violent and explicit, socio-politically adroit, and fascinatingly cultured, read the Kushiel series--its just better.

These Authors are updating what it means to write Science Fiction, Fantasy, Murder Mysteries and Intimacy in HUGE ways. If you're feeling burnt out on the goldie oldies, try one of these authors.

I have SO MUCH favorite music. I love being made to feel things it is possibly my favorite thing ever!!
|| Because of that there are a lot of genres, songs, and artists close to my heart. I love good guitar, good lyrics, and good vocals. I love to sing, so anything that appeals to me as something I would want to sing has an easy in with me. I love metal for the fantastic level of skill necessary on bass and guitar, as well as the mathematical precision of complex chords that metal often showcases. My favorite metal is always going to be that which combines exquisite poetry (lyrics), skilled technical proficiency, and shared values (honor, justice, emotional fortitude and strength). This includes (but is not limited to) Lamb of God, Heart of a Coward, the Devil Wears Prada, Motionless in White, Bad Omens, I Prevail, The Ghost Inside, Silverstein, Orbit Culture, and most recently--Silent Planet.
|| I love folk and indie music because it is frankly gorgeous and cleverly worded (the lyrics, again!) and often delightful for me to sing along with, though less heavy on instrumental portions.
|| I love rap, spoken word, and hip hop for the lyrics, meaning, shared values/experiences, and technical verbal and rhythm proficiency necessary to create truly great wordplay and beat. I love the impact rap and hip hop has traditionally had on culture and cultural values, and the space they take up in the poetry/beat world.
|| My third great love is pop, which is universally loved. I love the shared nature of pop music, the ability to bridge divides and gaps between people and culture. I love grocery shopping, and walking into grocery stores and hearing a favourite pop song from 2011. I love playing pop music in a group of people who are feeling socially anxious, and watching them relax upon hearing something familiar. I love dancing to pop music, love the fact that any public function is going to have something I've heard before, and can dance to, and can join in listening and loving. Pop is close to my heart for the way it brings us together. Sometimes, when I am listening to a pop song and I hear something really emotionally profound, all I can think of is like 'damn, we all really be feeling that way'. Pop is hot.
|| Oh and Punk music!! haha it really is all too much, I could talk about music for daaays. We should just talk about it together in my room lol.
Favorite Movies:
I love Musicals, and pretty much any movie about Aliens, I love cult classics (though no I haven't seen them all I am not perfect), I love coming of age stories (Yes God Yes, Booksmart, A Map of Tiny Perfect Things being some recent favourites), love Kevin Smith, love silly ones like Bill and Teds most excellent adventure, or Dude Wheres My Car, Pineapple express, etc. Love a heartrending Anime movie like A Silent Voice or I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. Love spiritual or philosophical ones like Everything, Everywhere, All At Once or The Fountain, Cloud Atlas, Ink, etc. Love movies in general--always going to the theatre or watching movies with friends.
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
I do a lot of crazy things haha. I'll list a few here but honestly I have so many I probably can't even think of them all. Met up with strangers online (a lot)--some from 4chan back in 2006 (area code meetup represent!), some from fanfiction.net back in 2004 (longterm friendships whats up), some from chatroulette, omegle, etc. I like talking to people and I always had a pretty good sense for character, even (or especially) over the internet. The stories that came out of it, and the friendships, are really great. Crashing parties! I LOVE going out and getting carried away in social functions, including times where I end up at a strangers house, among people I don't know, and now we're doing shots out of my belly button--these things just sort of happen to me. I am generally a huge fan of going along for the ride. Sold all my belongings and travelled around Europe alone for four months...that sort of thing. I follow my impulses, essentially.

It would be right here! I love who I am and what I'm doing with my life.
Hobbies:
I have a lot of hobbies but they are all really simplistic and sort of rustic I guess. I love to listen to music, I love to read, I love to go outside and play. I am here for the experience, and my hobbies reflect that. When I go outside its for long walks usually, though I do have a mountain bike and have been getting into that hobby slowly over the past four years or so. I can't say I am super proficient but I do enjoy the ride and the exertion, and being outside is its own reward. <3
Talents:
I am very talented!! I love learning new things and new skills so I have accomplished quite a lot so far haha. I can type *really* fast for example, some 130+ character per minute. I can similarly read really fast, which I know you must find quite impressive. I love to sing, and am okay at drawing or woodburning--I've tried to get into doing art in a general sense and would say that I am ok with it. I am incredibly flexible and have a basic level of defensive skill in martial arts, staff fighting and hand-to-hand combat. I can dance (according to me), and I am a great and accomplished conversationalist ^_^
