Favorite Books: A Farewell to Manzanar, All I Really Need to Know I learned in Kindergarten, Choke, A Farewell to Arms, Russian Fairy Tales, The Kitchen God's Wife, etc. Sitting down with a good book and a cup of tea is one of my favorite things to do!

Favorite Songs: My music tastes are all over the place! I've been getting into classical music again and it's making me realize how much I missed it. I'm a country music lover! I know, you probably just cringed. Yes, most country music that's been on the radio the past twenty years sucks but I still love george strait, tim mcgraw, etc. Real Country(not pop!) sounds like home to me. As you may notice in my room, I love jazz and old timey music. I highly recommend Ella Fitzgerald, Beirut, Queen, and Nina Simone to anyone who has a soul.

Favorite Movies: I just watched the Pianist the other day and it was just lovely. Such a beautiful and captivating portrayal of the horrific injustices endured during the Holocaust. Not to mention, I have a serious crush on Adrian Brody... Private Parts, Pirate Radio, Pride and Prejudice, are some other faves. Apparently if the movie title starts with a P, I will love it...?

Hobbies: knitting, crochet, biking, reading, painting, watching tv/movies, video games, and hanging out with my loved ones are just a few ways I like to spend my free time.
