Life imprisonment without parole was imposed even for crimes that were not particularly serious and did not result in death.
Brian Stevenson is a strong man.
He realized that he could not physically help all the prisoners, sometimes he had to put up with it and just listen to the person, a few hours before the execution.
But he continued to fight, realizing that all people were broken. Something is breaking us all. We all insult someone and someone insults us. But such cruel methods, simply destroying criminals, will not change anything.
The book is heavy. There are stories from which the blood just boils. And the topic is actually very complex.
How many times have we wanted death, a criminal or someone we consider a criminal.
But can we be sure that we are executing the culprit?

I decided to write only these two books.
They really touched me to the core.
