Meaning of Life:
There isn't one, and thank Jebus/Bob/FSM for that. But we all know that the answer to the related ultimate question of life, the universe and everything is forty-two.
Favorite Books:
Favourite authors are Douglas Adams and P.G. Wodehouse. I like sci-fi and clever prose. I read YA urban fantasy in order to torture myself or maybe to throw the other stuff into sharp relief (given the shortage of Vogon poetry these days).
Favorite Songs:
I like anything, but my brain is fixated upon 1996 or so, because that's when I was in high school. Therefore a lot of alternative rock (The Smashing Pumpkins), *Canadian* alternative rock (Matthew Good Band), Marilyn Manson, Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, I dunno. What else is 1996ish, internet?
Oh, Wikipedia - 1996 in Music. Thanks, internet! That all seems familiar and comfortable.
Beyond that, are there synths and drum machines? Yes? Then I'm okay with it.
Favorite Movies:
Naming some off of the top of my head in no particular order (I like a lot of movies): Joe vs The Volcano, The Prince Groom, THX-1138, Brazil, The Fifth Element, Kindergarten Cop, What About Bob?, Scrooged, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future I & II, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Big Lebowski, Spun, Pi, Go, Drop Dead Fred, Equilibrium, Dark City, Shaun of the Dead, Pineapple Express, They Live, True Lies, 12 Monkeys, Beetlejuice, Brain Candy... anything with a MST3K or Rifftrax track added on top of it, including Twilight. Okay, I'm tired of making this list now!
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
...I'd be in a geodesic dome on Ganymede. On the side with the view of Jupiter, thanks.
Hobbies:
Eyeliner, vodka, knee socks, Google Reader, NBC Thursday.
Talents:
I can write good.
Turn Ons/Offs:
On: I knows it when I sees it.
Off: Credulousness, unchangeable minds, all of this bullshit.
