Try to get through it without hurting and without being hurt, having as much fun as possible along the way. We make our luck in life; nothing truly good comes without effort, and nothing happens by accident.

Blues mostly, especially guitar-based, ranging from Jimmy Reed and John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson and Bo Diddley to Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ry Cooder and onward. I recently found a fine Paul Rodgers blues session CD in a remainders bin.

Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. My all-time favorite is Casablanca, because sometimes, when you really love someone, you have to let them go.
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
Stand-up sex in Tokyo's Tsukiji Fish Market while the market was open at 3 a.m.
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
I would be at a tropical resort with a woman I love, making love to the sound of the waves.

Cooking, blues guitar, paleontology (dinosaurs), geology, meteorology, reading, biking and hiking.
