Good food, good people, the internet, my wonderful doctors, and whatever luck or guardian angel or karma has kept me alive so far!
Favorite Books:
I like anything that takes me on a journey. Of course, Harry Potter is high on my list of favorite series, with post-apocalyptic series such as the Hunger Games trilogy and the Divergent series being more recent loves. Mysteries and mental thrillers get me going, too!
Favorite Songs:
There is absolutely no way for me to pick and choose. I can enjoy almost any kind of music and will never be able to narrow it down to a favorite artist or song. I do love instrumentals and acoustic songs when I'm just chilling out for the day, or things like Skrillex or Paramore or Linkin Park when I need some background noise for being productive!
Favorite Movies:
Again, adventure movies, mental thrillers, etc are all wonderful. But I have to say, anything by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli is going to be on my "favorites" list. Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa in the Valley of the Wind, Kiki's Delivery Service, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, Whisper of the Heart, My Neighbor Totoro...anything that lovely man creates is pure gold. I'll also always be a fan of Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks movies, How to Train Your Dragon, The Road to El Dorado, Inside Out, and Home being some favorites.
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done:
Most of my "craziest things" stories are sexual...such as fucking in my car in a Hooter's parking lot in broad daylight, getting caught fucking on TOP of my car at 3am in a parking lot that turned out to be for my mother's church (awkward), etc
If I Could Be Anywhere Right Now:
I would be at the beach. As stereotypical as that is, the ocean air has always made drastic changes in my health (in a good way) and any stress or anxiety just melts away when I'm there. I love it...and I miss it, having grown up on the east coast.
Hobbies:
Netflix/Hulu, Cooking, Eating, Napping (sleep is so great), and writing are all well and good, and those "hobbies" will never change. But lately, I've taken to learning how to Hoop Dance, and I've been using the Duolingo app to try to learn French and Italian :) I love languages with all my heart. 40% fluent in both so far, haha!
Talents:
I played piano for 14 years, ice-skated for 10, and did drama and choir for 8 or so, so I suppose those are important. Otherwise, I make a pretty decent portrait artist (ask if you'd like to see!)
Perfect Mate:
My perfect mate would, of course, have to not mind that I'm an exhibitionist and enjoy working on this site! S/He would also have to be able to let me have my freedom (i.e. not being overly-clingy and trying to hog all of my time) while still being confident and secure in knowing that they're the only one I want :) We would go on little adventures sometimes, like hiking in the Ozarks and floating and ziplining, etc, because I love heights and the outdoors. But we'd also love staying in bed all day sometimes, only getting up to eat and hydrate ;) Sex is absolutely necessary, because I have an insatiable libido, and I've yet to find someone who can truly "handle" me.
Perfect Date:
Any date filled with tons of flirting, teasing, laughing, fun, and getting to know each other is a perfect date to me.
Turn Ons/Offs:
Ons: Girls with tattoos and/or body piercings, a lust for life, risk-takers, happy people, people who can have true and meaningful conversations one moment and talk about silly things the next, tall men/women, short women, people who can be completely independent and live their own lives while still being in a committed and healthy relationship.
Offs: Clingers, manipulative people, mean-spirited people, egoists and narcissists (there's a big difference between confidence/good self-esteem and being full of yourself!), long beards (just not my thing), inability to carry conversation, bad hygiene.
